Inventory & warehouses

Every part on a shelf you can name

Stock is kept per warehouse, shelf and location. Every entry, sale, transfer and adjustment is a movement in a history that is never edited, so the count always has an explanation.

01What it handles

Products and the places they sit

A product catalogue detailed enough for parts, and stock tracked down to the storage location.

  • 01

    Variants and attributes

Colour, capacity or any attribute you define, with each variant kept as its own stock item.

  • 02

    Barcodes and aliases

Several barcodes per product, plus aliases for the names suppliers and staff use.

  • 03

    Compatible device models

Link a part to the device models it fits, so the right screen or battery is easy to find for a repair.

  • 04

    Organised catalogue

Brands, units, images, and categories with sub-categories and tags. Archive old products or edit them in bulk.

  • 05

    Stock per location

Each warehouse has shelves and storage locations. Stock is counted at the location, and nothing can be sold that is not there.

  • 06

    Alerts and labels

Set a critical stock level per product and see what is running low. Print barcode and price labels.

Parts stock

Every part is a stock item

Take a phone apart and every layer is something you buy, store and sell. Each one sits on a shelf with a barcode, a count and the device models it fits.

  1. 01

    One device on the bench

A repair starts with the whole device, and with the parts you will need to fix it.

  2. 02

    Every layer is a product

Screens, batteries, boards and glass are products in your catalogue, with variants, brands and the device models each one fits.

  3. 03

    Each one has a shelf

Stock is kept per warehouse, shelf and storage location. Several barcodes per product mean the supplier's label and your own both scan.

  4. 04

Used on a repair, counted at once

Add a part to the repair record and it comes out of stock at the shelf it was taken from. The movement is logged, and a part that is not used goes back.

02How the work flows

How stock moves

Each step writes a movement, so the history shows what moved, when and where.

  1. 01

    Set the opening stock

Enter what you have today per location, or use quick entry for a handful of items.

  2. 02

    Request and transfer

A workshop or counter raises a stock request, which can be fulfilled in part. Transfers move stock between warehouses and locations.

  3. 03

    Use and sell

Repairs and counter sales take stock from the location they name.

  4. 04

    Count and adjust

Correct differences with an adjustment. The original movements stay in the history.

03Closer look

Shelves you can see

Each shelf is a grid of storage locations, so staff know where to put a part and where to find it.
