Barcode checkout

One scan tells the counter everything

Scan a product with a USB barcode scanner and the sale knows which variant it is, where it is stored and which devices it fits.

  1. 01

    A box on the counter

A customer brings a charger to the counter.

  2. 02

    Either barcode works

Products can have several barcodes and aliases, so the supplier's barcode and your own label both scan.

  3. 03

    The product record answers

The variant, the compatible device models, the stock location and the quantity come with the scan.

  4. 04

    Straight into the sale

The line lands in the sale with its own price, discount and VAT, and the stock location it is sold from.

03What matters

What a parts store needs to get right

Finding the item, trusting the count, knowing the margin.

Product data
Variants and attributes, brands, categories with sub-categories and tags, units, images and aliases for the names customers actually use.
Barcodes
Several barcodes per product, so the supplier's code and your own both scan at the counter.
Compatibility
Each part records the device models it fits, from the same catalogue the repair side uses.
Stock you can trust
Append-only movement history, no overselling, opening stock, adjustments and transfers between warehouses.
Cost and margin
Posting a receipt updates weighted average cost, and each sale records cost of goods and profit.

04Questions

Questions shops like yours ask

01Do I need the repair module to use SmartService?

No. A store can run on sales, inventory and purchasing alone. The repair module is there if you add a service desk later.

02Does the AI match my products automatically?

No. An AI model extracts the data from the supplier's PDF, image or Excel invoice. Your staff review and match each line before anything is posted, and saved SKU mappings make repeat suppliers quicker.

03Can I bring my existing product list in?

Yes. Master-data import analyses and validates your file before it runs, and re-importing does not create duplicates.
