Phone & tablet repair
Phone repairs at the bench, accessories at the counter, one stock
Check in a cracked screen with its IMEI and photos, fit the part from a labelled shelf, send the customer a tracking link and sell them a case on the way out. Repairs and sales draw on the same stock and the same customer record.
01A working day
A day in a phone repair shop
From the walk-in at the counter to the phone going home.
- 01
Check the phone in
At the counter, or the customer scans a QR code and fills in their own details on their phone. Add the device from the catalogue with its IMEI, the fault, condition photos and any deposit.
- 02
Repair at the bench
Assign the job to a technician. They move it from Received to In progress on the Kanban board and write the diagnosis on the device.
- 03
Fit the part from the shelf
Add the screen or battery to the record. Stock goes down at the shelf location it came from, and a part you take back off is returned to stock.
- 04
Let the customer follow it
Status changes can send an email or SMS from your templates. The customer opens a tracking page instead of calling to ask.
- 05
Hand it back and sell the extras
Turn the record into a service invoice, settle the balance and mark the phone Delivered. A case or charger goes through the POS with a barcode scan.

03What matters
What a phone shop needs to get right
The details that decide whether a busy counter stays in order.
- Devices
- Phone and tablet device types, with brand, series and model picked from a built-in catalogue you can edit. IMEI and serial number are stored with each device.
- Several devices per visit
- One service record can hold a phone and a tablet. Each device has its own fault, photos, status and estimated delivery.
- Unlock codes
- PINs and patterns are stored encrypted, shown only to staff with permission, and expire 30 days after they were saved.
- Accessories and parts
- Products with variants such as colour, several barcodes each, and the device models they fit.
- Paper
- Service receipts and device labels with a QR code that opens the tracking page, laid out in the print designer and printed from the browser or on DYMO label printers.
04Questions
Questions shops like yours ask
01Can customers check themselves in?
Yes. The counter shows a QR code, and the customer fills in their own details on their phone through a link that stays valid for 20 minutes and shows your consent text.
02Do repairs and accessory sales share stock?
Yes. A screen used on a repair and a case sold at the POS both come out of the same stock, with the movement recorded against the storage location.
