Console & small electronics
Consoles and small devices, in a catalogue you shape
Game consoles, controllers, headphones and other small electronics are recorded under the Other device type. Add the brands and models you see to your own catalogue, then run the repair the same way any device moves through the shop.
01A working day
A day in a console repair shop
Your own device list, the usual repair flow.
- 01
Set up the models you see
Add the console and device brands, series and models you repair to your catalogue once. They are there for every check-in after that.
- 02
Check the device in
At the counter or by the customer's own phone from a QR code. Record it as Other with its model, serial number, the fault and condition photos.
- 03
Repair at the bench
Move the job across the Kanban board. Waiting for part tells the customer a part is on the way.
- 04
Use parts from stock
Add the drive, fan or stick module to the record. Each part can list the models it fits, and stock goes down at its shelf location.
- 05
Hand back and sell
Turn the record into a service invoice, settle the balance and sell a controller or cable at the POS on the way out.
02Modules you'll use
The parts of the platform a console shop leans on
The repair flow, the parts and the counter.

03What matters
What a console shop needs to get right
Devices that don't fit a phone-shaped form.
- Device type
- Consoles and small electronics use the Other device type; phones, tablets, laptops and watches have their own.
- Catalogue
- A few handheld consoles are already in the built-in catalogue. Add the rest yourself; the catalogue is editable per business.
- Identification
- Serial number, fault, diagnosis and photos on every device, with past repairs kept on the customer.
- Parts
- Each part can record the device models it fits, so the bench and the counter pick the right one.
- Returnable parts
- A part taken off during the repair can be returned to stock from the record.
04Questions
Questions shops like yours ask
01Is there a Console device type?
No. Device types are phone, tablet, laptop, watch and other. Consoles go under Other, with the brands and models you add to your catalogue.
02Can one record hold a console and its controllers?
Yes. A service record can contain several devices, each with its own fault, status and photos.
03Can I sell accessories from the same stock?
Yes. The POS sells from the same products and stock locations the repair bench uses.
